Hi all, Boy what a day. Nancy cleaned the house then helped me make fruit salad. I hung Toms new curtains and she did the bedding. Tom seems to be tickled with it then got mad at me because I didnt buy myself anything. Then I helped Robert make the pies for tomorrow.
Keven loved his gift and some assemble required turned into 3 hrs for the boys. Everyone was wore out so I sent the boys for cheeseburgers. I didnt even pull the meat and cheese out.
Im not peeing and my legs are swollen. Lots of pain.

Good you had a nice busy day... better than bored out if your gourd.
Sometimes packaged meat needs a chance to air a bit after you open it. What was it?
Sorry you're hurting so bad. Can you lay down and put your legs up? Higher than your heart.

Hi Wishing, it was hard salami This was pure rot. It exploded and stunk the house up.
I have my feet up but not above my heart.

We had a break in the rain just before sundown so Scooter and I went for a walk. Very pretty and balmy 50⁰ which was nice.

Scoot stopped for a sniff at someone's driveway and a cooper's hawk swooped down the drive and across the street right in front of me! So close I could have touched it.

Was 50⁰ last night too, thank goodness. No power until 10 this morning. Dad's was out too. We were lucky... it's been in the mid 30s lately. Brrrrr

Got the popcorn ready for stringing.
I think half has already been eaten. And plain too. Who eats plain popcorn? My guys are weird!

Air popper was the first appliance I ever bought. It's old, but still functional, kinda like me!
Had to break out some of my emergency water stash this morning. Power outage wouldn't be a big deal if didn't take out the well pump.

Well I got my 3 batches of cookies done. Not real happy with the sugar cookies so I may make another batch tomorrow when I make pumpkin pie.

Granny, you worry the daylights out of me. Hope you are watching your sodium intake. and good advice about getting those feet up.

I have to admit I missed doing the card exchange this year but there was just so much going on with running back and forth to the hospital for testing and was so stressed by all of it that I just had to cut back on other things. Hopefully next year.

Got the report from the hospital of my endoscopy and biopsies. I'm going to live. I won't enjoy eating much but hey, eat to live not live to eat. three months of testing and thank God, no bit C found. Just inflammation. Prayers are answered.

Yeah, a mini sunset. The rain clouds were pretty thick all around except that one spot.
