We had our coldest day of the year at about 30F this morning. Rain will be moving in tonight so we will warm up to a low of 40F tomorrow morning.

I do have a winter coat to use if I go up into the mountains!

I have not been to the mountains in winter for several years now thougn.

I wear a hooded sweatshirt on dry days and a light water proof coat on rainy days.

At least you have something. I know a few in Ca. that dont. I only wear a hooded flannel but its lined and I just go from the house to the car for the most part. Im on 2 blood thinners so that makes me a lil colder.

Thats the plan! We have a few barn stalls set up. The new chickens are recovering well.

When my nephews lived by Palm Springs, they did not have winter coats!
