When my nephews lived by Palm Springs, they did not have winter coats!

When Tom and I spent Christmas in Fl. it got down to 60 and mom was freezing. We thought it was a warm treat from where we lived in Mi. I think they called us snow bunnys. lol

Its such a weird feeling to be all bundled up in the snow and cold and step off a plane where you feel really stupid carting a coat around with you through the airport.

Hope everyone had a great New Years and didn't suffer ill effects from celebrating too much.

We got 5 inches of snow yesterday, low of -3 and a high of 13 today. I think it's going to be -3 again tonight. Winter is definitely here.

I've been plastering this everywhere because I am so darned proud of them. Our Cattle Dogs turned 3 years old yesterday. From complete heathen 3 month old pups to this. It's been a challenge, and losing Sid a heart break but these guys are so eater to please and too smart for their own good. Over the last two months they have learned to sit on command and stay in a line together.

Now if we could just overcome this desire to eat cats....

They are looking well behaved Becky! I seen a pup that was half cattle dog half husky and I fell in love. Calico colors with blue eyes. I wanted her badly but knew I wouldnt be able to handle her.

They are handfuls Granny. The last three years have been rough to say the least. They are our works in progress. But it's been rewarding to see them grow and develop their own personalities. Plus they are way too smart and too eager to please.

I knew they were very smart and couple that with a husky that likes to run and it seemed like a disaster to me. I dont have the energy to train another pup.

We retreated after 7 days. Dusted them twice, no mites before the second dusting, but will be treating the entire coop and them again in 7 days just to be safe.

It was 5 degrees this morning. Got up to 21, it's now 14.
