Well .it's 30 degrees right now, only getting down to 25 tonight instead of 5. Won't have to drip, just open the cupboard to under the sink. Twist, those cows are too cute.

I slept a lot today, so still awake.
Ended up bringing 2 more chickens in the house, their light blew out and it was too cold to replace the bulb. They need a bath anyway.
My favorite D'uccle is off, i think she's laying internally. She came in for a sitz bath today but she hasn't passed anything but poop. Thinking she will probably die. At least she's still eating.

just seen this in my back yard It was way bigger then I expected a fox to be.

I only seen it for a second past my bathroom window but it looked darker and more fluffy. It was bigger then Frosty. long and the birds were acting weird.

Good morning all. Not much new going on around here. Most excitement was hanging up new calendars. More rain off and on, and it's warmed up quite a bit... was 50⁰ this morning. Nice after having lows below freezing for the last week.
Have lived here for 20 yrs and this is the first time we might have to mow in January!

The chickens are doing a fair job keeping it trimmed. The few eggs we are getting have dark orange yolks from all the greens they are eating. Look like spring eggs.
My 3 day headache has subsided. Big chore of day is to get my car smogged. Appt at 10:30.
