We have so many dead pines laying everwhere, hubby only cuts them up if they are across a mule path, which this one is.@CapricornFarm we call that Fire Wood! We don't burn pine in our woodstove but great stuff for camp fires and the like.
Distracted driving? Oh yeah. I could tell y'all stories. DH and I used to do competitive cycling. which meant we trained a lot, usually riding our bikes to the office and home. Sometimes we would take a longer route going home. Weekends were spent riding sometimes 50 miles or more. One week I had ridden over 125 miles. Our biggest challenge was distracted drivers. We used to call them soccer moms who had their cell phones glued to their ears. We never road on roads where there wasn't a generous shoulder and ditch that we could swerve into if one came at us. Then there were those who were just plain mean and would see how close they could come to us. Happened all the time. Now we ride on gravel roads or where it is safe. People are even more distracted now than they were ten years ago.
