That's the thing we are happiest about with the new hood... very nice bright LED light. I wish it had a dimmer option, but we've never been able to see the stove so well... and how much it needs to be cleaned!

Well. After a full day at the office, I got some paperwork backlog fought through and w4s printed.

Love y’all but this week is going to be cray cray so if you don’t see me much don’t panic. I’ll just be locked in the land of spare oom plotting vengeance. Yay all the hours.

Better go empty the dishwasher…sigh.

Wishing, here are the roosts. They also like to sleep on the door too. Grammy is actually sleeping on the nest tonight! The last picture shows a temporary roost I added in. Its pretty hard to see at night though. I will get pictures of the set up doing the day.

Wishing, here are the roosts. They also like to sleep on the door too. Grammy is actually sleeping on the nest tonight! The last picture shows a temporary roost I added in. Its pretty hard to see at night though. I will get pictures of the set up doing the day.

Looks like they have lots of choices. They prefer to roost up high. Instincts tell them it's safer. The rounded bar is probably too small for comfort. There are lots of ideas on byc for roosting set ups... you can look how others have done it.

Here are my older hens in their coop. They can easily hop up from roost to roost. Dominant hens get the prime spots at the top. There is an upturned pot just below Spike (black hen) as the last step to the floor.

This is the setup for the pullets' coop.

They all take the high roost!
