I have mostly stopped eating eggs. I miss them for sure. When I buy it is from the stores. Cost me almost $7.00 for a dozen. Why dont you trust the stores?

In most places, the eggs come from battery farms. then there is the handling in the store.

Recently California changed some rules so things are supposed to be better though.

I am hoping my hens will start up again and I have an order for Pita Pinta hatching eggs! It is very exciting!

It's not approved for use in poultry in the US because not enough studies have been done about residuals in eggs and meat. The 2 wk withdrawal is standard for other wormers, so people go along with that. There are a few studies that support no withdrawal, but again, not approved, so use your best judgment.
