yes in the house and yes he is allergic. He has conditioned himself I think by being around them his whole life that its just not bad as it used to be plus he takes meds

Hubs was allergic to a lot of stuff. I moved in with birds, cats, dogs, rats and mice. The cats were the worst for him. Had to wash his hands if he touched them. I vacuumed a lot. Few months later he wasn't allergic any more. Guess I overloaded him right out of it!
