If it says not to use it on cats, then you should not. They are very sensitive to many things that dogs can handle.

I use fipronil for fleas on Scooter and they recommend keeping cats separate for 24 hrs until it dries.

Sensitivity varies with cat species! We had a long haired Siamese cat that foamed from the mouth with one type of flea drop on!

We found a pill to use that kills the fleas quite fast and all at once.

It's not anything worse than what you see in the summer with the guys working outside. Well, wait. They don't take their shirts off like that, and we'll to be honest, most don't look like that. Yeah, guessing yours eyes did burn a bit after seeing that. 😋
