Granny's gone and done it again

Feed them something they really like ( tubifex worms in this case) . But keep your hand over the water. Then start holding it in the water once they get used to the first part. And gradually hold it a bit higher out of the water. Trigger fish are great at it!
Thanks! I never knew this!

They always look so sad in those “cups” :(
Apparently they come from a place where they live in puddles. But, they do enjoy fish tanks.

Never kept them in those cups. Smallest I've done was 2gal...this 3 gal is actually a bit smaller than I prefer - I like to go 5 gal for my bettas - easier to keep temperature steady with a heater with that amount and gives them plenty of room - but I was stuck with some size/weight constraints. I mean, the desk it's going on is somewhat sturdy, but it's still cheapie amazon. Back in the motherland, I had two fluval chis (those were awesome until the filter crapped out on em....sigh), one was a 5 gal, one was a 7 gal, that I had bettas do pretty good in (though I did have to fashion a top out of craft supplies...sigh), and I had a five gal generic tank in my kitchen ;) Yes, I had a problem lol.
There are betta tanks anf betta waterfalls to hold multiple bettas.
Saw those...but still less room than I'd like for each betta.
