Granny's gone and done it again

Uh oh. Don't give up hope. She might be sitting on a hidden nest. If she doesn't show up in the morning, look around for feathers. If something got her, there are usually feathers.
Our new property is fully fenced and has a lot of fenced-in areas. It would be nearly impossible for a deer to get in. Which makes me think that its not a land predator, however, we do have an owl. I just counted them a few minutes before they all went to bed, so she went missing right before bed time.

Grey fox can get over any fence, so can weasels and raccoons. Bobcats and mtn lions too. Fencing will help, but it's not fool proof.

Yeah, I know. But the bobcats we have here are wimps, very scared of human interaction. mtn lions are a rare sight here. We don't have foxes OR raccoons, pretty sure. Doubt we have weasels either. Bobcats are a possibility, although I am definitely hoping for the best.

We have raccoons down "there", but I live higher up now. Haven't heard of any raccoons here.
