Our new property is fully fenced and has a lot of fenced-in areas. It would be nearly impossible for a deer to get in. Which makes me think that its not a land predator, however, we do have an owl. I just counted them a few minutes before they all went to bed, so she went missing right before bed time.Uh oh. Don't give up hope. She might be sitting on a hidden nest. If she doesn't show up in the morning, look around for feathers. If something got her, there are usually feathers.
Its definitely possible, but HIGHLY unlikely. I spend a lot of time with them and have not noticed broody behaviors. That was definitely a first thought of mine though.Could she have gone broody and is sitting on a hidden nest?
Any idea why my male one died a few weeks ago? Just suddenly. I‘m not really sad, just interested.
Just goes to show where his priorities are at. From the sounds of it, he LOVES that safe.He didnt clean his whole room, Just the part where the safe went. But thats a start
Grey fox can get over any fence, so can weasels and raccoons. Bobcats and mtn lions too. Fencing will help, but it's not fool proof. Our new property is fully fenced and has a lot of fenced-in areas. I like watching housing renovations.
My faves are Home Town and Fixer to Fabulous.I didn't watch the one I linked, but this one I did. Its one of my favorites.
Yeah, I know. But the bobcats we have here are wimps, very scared of human interaction. mtn lions are a rare sight here. We don't have foxes OR raccoons, pretty sure. Doubt we have weasels either.
