Granny's gone and done it again

Great news! Do your Wellies have spurs coming in? Both mine had them.
The one I have left was squawking like crazy this evening. Turns out she was late and the auto door shut her out of the coop! I will change the time tomorrow.

The 2 Wyandottes I had didn't have great temperaments. The SLW was named Grumpus (befitting). I also had a blue Wyandotte who was about the same. Neither of them were great layers. Both laid very small eggs. On the bright side, they were very pretty birds.
Nope, no spurs on any of our Welsummers.

Its still sleeting here. was supposed to change to snow hrs ago. I honestly dont know whats keeping our lights on. Robert walked out to check the ice on the furnace (there wasnt any) and he didnt even make footprints in the sleet. Said it was just all ice.

Nice looking eggs Kelsy, were they fertile?

Thank you. I got them off of ebay.

Yes. The Blue Maran egg the spiderwebs were on the other side.

My husband, Bob, made a candler out of a birdhouse with a 75-watt bulb. I think I may have to get 100-watt bulb to see well in the really dark eggs.
