@microchick, is that a cast iron wall-hanger in your avatar? I have a pair just like it. They were painted when I bought them, but are rusted over now. I was thinking of painting them a verdigris green and then distressing them a bit.

Some were really hard to see into. The eggs were left unplugged for 2 hours.

Have you read casportponys hatching experiments? She did crazy things to eggs and was always surprised with the results. I can’t remember the exact parameters, but one involved beginning the incubation process, then cooling the eggs for an extended period, and then warming them again. They still hatched.

So have hope!

No, i couldn't find any. Lespidesa would be ideal. Mine is orchard grass.

Thats what the breeder recommended as well. Orchard grass and alfalfa in a 70/30 mix.
