I like wyandottes. They were a favorite of mine. I dont know about taste though

loved the black-laced wyandottes BUT egg size sucked. Barred Rocks used to cause Robert to have flash backs of prison and they were NOT nice. Hamps are good, white Rocks I didn't seperate to check production/size on. I have enough EE's and Light brahmas

The hens that usually are missing the most feathers off their backs almost always seem to be the hamps. Not sure why.

Never had Wyandottes because they never interested me. Barred Rocks were a nightmare for us as well. Hated those birds. Never have had Hamps another not interested in the breed.
I have EEs, Brahmas (light buff and dark) I like them. Friendly and sweet even the roosters.

Could the Roos prefer those hens?

Wyandotts are also VERY easy to pluck and tasted great even as old stewing hens.

This might be the only reason I would be willing to get them.

Just dropping in to say hi..bye. I'm recovering from a flu bug. Tummy. Just feeling sick to the stomach and tired. Baby Ashton had it first, then Austin, now me. I'm better than earlier, but still tired, even though I've slept most of the day. Everyone have a good night. Have a feeling I'll be sleeping ok.
