like bologna?Shocked because it was nothing like he described it to be. Spam is probably just one of those things that is hard to describe anyways, though.

I have a rope tied to a tree, and i climb up the incline, while carrying my bucket of rocks. I like your system better! Now you have me wondering. When we bought our property it was just under half of a 60 acre tract of land/pasture/timber. Whether the fence is on the 1000 foot mark of our property's frontage or not is the big question.
My husband has suggested that we start with the north section of our property in the timber where we have a deep ravine with a stream running through it and a lot of rocks down in the ravine. He usually parks the tractor near by, attaches a tow line to it and tosses the tow line down the ravine and I rappel down, fill a bucket with treasures and he pulls it up for me.
Not bad for an old fart, eh?
Better probably to hit the creek bed after the spring flooding occurs.
