Hello everyone. I am new. Hatches one emu and hopefully another one very soon join us. I have one egg that hasn’t hatched. Way overdue. Does anyone know if an egg can be saved or dried out without emptying the contents? Not sure if there was any development. View attachment 3003725View attachment 3003730

Welcome to BYC and Grannys,
I have had fairy eggs I have allowed to dry out but one with a yolk would need to be blown out.

Howdy all, slept too much! Im getting good at that.
Robert and Keven just left. Supposed to pick up the paper work for me from the eye drs. 3 people is enough to give me writers cramp so I can take my time this way.

Good Morning Grannyland! @Oly bird Welcome, and you should probably make a seperate thread. You will get more answers there. Just go to forums and press create a new thread. Either select the incubating and hatching eggs category or the emu category. Title your thread what you like and ask your question. I finished the gate for the last stall in the barn. Now when the touch up paint dries, i can install it.
Also finally put the 13 eggs that made it to lock down in the hatcher i set up.
I am working on a quilt for grandson.
