Granny's gone and done it again

Interesting, thank you. Hmmm. I have five barred females and a barred male, (all Dominiques) and Rojo, a big red roo.

Okay, so without getting technical, or explaining the genetics (because my eyes cross when we go there) what would I get if I bred my Dom rooster to the Dom hens? Would I be able to sex the chicks?
I know you got hatchery doms. Knowing this, I wouldn't expect them to be sexable at hatch. The headspot trick can work, but coming from a hatchery could have easily been bred out of them. I will say this, though: Males will likely be double barred and be lighter in color than the females. Keep in mind that barring is white, not black. So two genes of barring will make the bird lighter in color. Females will likely be darker since they receive one barring gene.

Austin took Ashton to the Dr. No ear infection. He does have a bit of chest wheeze, but isn't worried..not bad. Says to do, what they're already doing. He was going to suggest humidifier. At least he's acting better today. No fever this morning, but kids were up with him all night, had a fever. He's still coughing. The Dr asks if anyone else in the home is sick. Austin says, not yet..doc says, hmm..this is very contagious. Looks at Austin with the..just wait look. Man I hope we don't get it.. again. I had it for a month and a half last time. :(
What is it?

Nope can't imagine it. They may try to do something via Alaska but then they would have the whole might of the US, Canada the UN and NATO to deal with.

And to quote Yamamoto, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." Even he knew that his navy could only hold us off for a year, then he was toast.....which happened anyway.
Yeah if they don’t take all our guns away.

You understand chicken genetics well. I only understand mammal genetics. Chickens are whole nother level of confusion.

Then my guess is ... 32 lbs.
Thats the weight for a few of the others.

Are the kidney stones gone?

Just the basics. I bother the genetic experts often, though

You breed AND show dogs! I could never!!! ❤️

Hey, don't think I ever asked, what animals do you have, besides dogs?
