Hey, don't think I ever asked, what animals do you have, besides dogs?

Barn cat, chickens. That’s it. I don’t want any more animals to take care of. I want to get a Sphinx cat but it will be inside and don5 relish having a cat box to clean out.

It's my tower, i made it out of clay. It's taller than i am.

It’s weird that chickens can have a different amount of chromosomes in the male and the female

Bout time indeed! Feedstore was closed today, though. Will have to setup their pens soon. The meetings today taught us how to choose a good show pig

Interesting, thank you. Hmmm. I have five barred females and a barred male, (all Dominiques) and Rojo, a big red roo.

Okay, so without getting technical, or explaining the genetics (because my eyes cross when we go there) what would I get if I bred my Dom rooster to the Dom hens? Would I be able to sex the chicks?

Once they grow their feathers, one sex is darker, the other is lighter. I think hens are lighter.

Nope can't imagine it. They may try to do something via Alaska but then they would have the whole might of the US, Canada the UN and NATO to deal with.

And to quote Yamamoto, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." Even he knew that his navy could only hold us off for a year, then he was toast.....which happened anyway.

I don't think they would be foolish enough, as well.

Taiwan on the other hand, will definitely become a part of China, I'm thinking. Shouldn't be too hard...

Today I washed ten dozen eggs and prepped them for sale. Our church friend gave us 12 dozen yesterday when we picked her up for church. We gave away six dozen to church members. I already had several dozen from my own birds. This is getting scary! The ten dozen will go away tomorrow. (There are only 9 dozen in this pic. I washed the 10th dozen afterward.)
