I seen the daffodils blooming yesterday. Surprised me. I didnt even think it was time for them to be up yet.

My MIL always called them Easter lilies. They bloom before and around Easter, it seems. Mine are!

Yup, I know, and I have a bunch of those out in the garden too. But they don't bloom until June or so. You can get them at Walmart, blooming, for Easter, but they've been forced. The daffodils are blooming now, that's why she -and most local folks - called them that.

Toxic to chickens too. That's why they don't eat them.
