Me three! Good night, ladies, Pert, lurkers, friends! :frow

Good night Cynthia. Is there a reason you like that specific breed?
Fell in love with our Schnoodle. Went ahead and got the purebreds. Our Cooper is so sweet. Never had bitten or snapped at my little grandson, and he's been rough at times.

We got the roof on the small pole barn to keep the goats and their hay dry when it rains.

me while doing end of the quarter and annual for worker's comp paperwork Which must be done on line. Extra hour wasted as opposed to doing it on paper. Then 941 taxes for first quarter of 2022 and end of the month books for the motel a
…why is it that sometimes it forgets my multi quotes til the next day. Ugh. Luckily our accounting software does a lot of what needs doing for the quarterlies. Boss lady keeps saying she’s going to teach me to do those…cause really. I don’t have enough other things to do right meow….

the Northern lights on March 30 here in ND. I missed them and NOT my picture.
Gorgeous. I remember one time seeing them in Winnipeg…would see them occasionally in ottawa too. Cold lake….was far enough north that you’d see them and see them strong a lot. I miss them.
Meet little Bella. I have been looking for a new Schnauzer for a while. I didn't want to get a pup, but this one is older..doing well with potty training already and has all shots but one left. I'll be getting her chipped and fixed eventually. View attachment 3050262View attachment 3050263View attachment 3050264
Omg she’s adorable!!!!
12 weeks. Smart little thing. I'm going to have to watch her though with her eating. She snarfs like it's her last meal! I might have to get one of those special dishes.
I got a couple of those for goose too. Breeder recommended them so they’d have to think a bit with their food. (I also liked it for giving me fifteen minutes of peace while he ate when I got home at lunch lol yep. I’m THAT mom.)
Got some outdoor work done this weekend. Some weeks ago we hired a younger man to help us straighten out the broken roof on the "porch" on the side of our barn/shop. Some cows had busted two of the 4x4 supports holding up the roof and it was about to collapse. He agreed to do the job in exchange for a rear-tine tiller we never use, and also to come back and till our "garden" (chicken run) once he got it running and weather permitted. Yesterday was that day! He also tightened up my compost bin I rigged out of pallets. I'm real excited about that. I will dump the chicken litter from the coop into that when I clean the coop and poop boards (roosts) and the dogs won't get into it.

Next week our friend is coming back to fence off this part of the garden from the chickens so I can actually plant in it. I am very excited, as I have not been in good enough health to even THINK about a garden in several years. It won't be much. A few tomatoes, a zucchini or two. But mostly I need to thin out and move the lilies and daffodils. In another year or two I may be able to share some!
Cool! May I see pics of the pallet compost bin? I’ve been debating doing something like that myself. Right now my compost bins are two old raised beds that won’t go anywhere since they got damaged in transit when we moved. Well. Not when we moved. When hubs got offended at where they were and moved them while they had dirt in em….sigh.

They’ve also seen some love from me dumping wagonfuls of chicken poop into them so…if I do get them empty I’m not sure how salvageable they are. But I kinda wanted to do a run compost too so the chickens could turn it for me ;)
