OH and that disaster. At some point one of the wind/snow storms managed to blow down a HUGE tree which of course is now blocking the entrance to the pre-chute area and one branch/trunk is laying across the squeeze chute.

So nothing got done with the young stuff. Have to get the bobcat and chainsaw out to clean it up and then I will probably load all 8 into the trailer and haul them in.

Aw, that's sad, Twist! Sure it wasn't a predator that got her? You think it was malformed and couldn't get up?

not sure how one could have especially since the rest of the body is untouched. NO way momma and rest of the herd would have let a predator start eating a calf from the tail forward.
