Granny's gone and done it again

I can't imagine why. I've had a few surgeries in my life, and am under the care of more than one doctor for various health issues. They take good care of me. I would have been dead long ago without them. Doctors saved my first husband's life when he was diagnosed with leukemia and he lived another 25 years or more. I have known other patients with leukemia who could not be saved but doctors extended their lives and greatly enhanced their quality of life. I believe we have some of the best doctors in the world here, which is why medical students from all over the world come here to study under them.
My dad and grandpa are also “anti-doctor” people. When I was in preschool, I fell from the bed and the corner of my eye hit the corner of a nearby cabinet. My grandpa recommended putting a napkin over it, and calling it a day. My mom didn’t listen, luckily, and rushed me to the ER. I got 7 stitches barely even a cm from my eye that day. Oh and then a few days later I proceeded to cause a wound dehiscence, but that’s a while nother story about me being dumb.

On the other hand, recent studies have linked calcium supplements with an increased risk of colon polyps (small growths in the large intestine that can become cancerous) and kidney stones, which are hard masses usually formed in the kidneys from an accumulation of calcium and other substances.
