Granny's gone and done it again

Will Twist be in tonight? I want to show him how the squash plants are doing that he sent me the seeds for. There are six "hills" of plants. They are planted in the Garden of Weedin'. The Man put tomato cages around thrm so he won't run over them when he mows around them. I'll just show two of them, my connection is slow. They are small but sturdy!

Today I made a large batch of broth from two roasted chickens. One was a young bird we ate, the other an old hen I roasted then stewed for the dogs. Tomorrow I will pressure can several quart jars of broth. I feel very accomplished.
Do you ever make bone broth from them? That stuff is magic

I think that's what I'm trying to do. I boiled them for about six or seven hours and I included several feet, which I peeled. In fact, the first chicken, I simmered overnight in the oven. Both were falling-off-the-bone tender.
