105°F here today I think the Real Feel was over 110. Whew!

Took the dogs in to be groomed, my friend that usually does it has not been available. They look great! Smell good, too. Not a bad price, either. Pics tomorrow maybe.

Gonna be hot all week too. Have been putting ice water bottles in the chickens' waterers.

Oh yes. Plenty of oak, elm and conifer trees about. A big ol' mulberry, a huge black walnut, some black cherry, redbud, crape myrtle, persimmon and several others. Plus a volunteer wild grape covers the coop thickly, although some kind of beetle is now turning its leaves into lace.
