Granny's gone and done it again

Is there a way to treat them that doesn't kill bees?
The best method that we found was to give each of your neighbors a Japanese beetle trap and offer to tend to it to keep it functioning properly. We were helped by attracting the beetles to the neighbors and the chickens gained protein through our due diligence in keeping the traps checked. Our neighbors were highly satisfied because we were actively helping to control the beetle population. It felt like a win win situation for all involved.
