In Blue's test kitchen today we made these delightful Breakfast Granola Cookies, essentially a soft chewy oatmeal cookie with unsalted peanuts and raisins, not too sweet. The combination of peanuts (a legume) and oats (a grain) provides a complete protein, making it a good choice for breakfast. Our samplers (BIL and SIL) gave them two thumbs up! DH likes them too and he is not usually fond of desserts and sweets!

I reckon if I lived close by I would find some reason to visit. I might also be carrying a quart of fresh cooled goats milk to go with the cookies.

Sorry think I dozed off. I tried making a batch with peanut butter instead of butter. They were ghastly, lol.

It does pretty good, but it seems like it's making some retirement sounds. I have probably shot upwards of 15,000 pictures with it. Yes, I take LOTS of pictures just to make sure I get some good ones. I do feel very limited at times though. The camera is a Canon PowerShot SX530 HS.

You also have a good eye, a gift for composing.
