The saga continues...

So we picked up puppy next morning after practically zero sleep, and started the 11 hr trek home.

Got the puppy's travel kennel all fixed up, pee pads ready, food and water ready and off we went.
Puppy was not happy in the kennel with the gate on, so off it went. He settled down then...

He would go back and forth to the crate. Sometimes he sort of oozed his way out.

It was a hot day. Even with the AC on, it was still pretty warm in the back seat. Then he discovered it was cooler  under the front seats, which became his favorite spot to be. View attachment 3202848

We arrived home around 10:30 pm. Got him settled into his pen.

Now got to get ready for Scooter's appt.

Hi all.. having a hard time. It just keeps getting worse. I'm showing Austin how to post on here in case I can't come back in. Bad days..hoping for some somewhat good days again. Neurologist on the 11th. Granny, saw that you're in pain. I'm so sorry. At least I'm not in horrible pain. I'm having a hard time with the feeling of passing out all the time. Pray this Doc can help. I was tasked to toss the afterbirth when it came out. Usually the sows just focus on feeding their piglets first. I've never seen one eat it before, but I'm sure they can.

Went to town, had fun but glad to be back. Saw 5 deer and 3 rabbits on the way home.

Its good to have a freezer full of meat. I havent seen that in a long time.

well I got half the green beans snapped and cooked with some of those little red potatoes in them. Kevin loved them. I wish I had made them all. Now I dont have bacon grease to do the other half. Maybe Nancy will want them tomorrow.
