Here is a look into the therapy I experience on a daily basis. The filly is 50% Gypsy Vanner, 25% Arabian and 25% Appaloosa. The goats are all Nigerian dairy. All the females are on the near side and all the males are on the far side of the fence.

you mean the mother YES plus extra "goodies"

I talked to another friend who had great Dane's. Her breeder has had even a worse year. 2 breeding/pg females had to be spayed due to whelping complications and has lost over 15 pups. A couple other's had whelping/puppy issues as well .

Were they under a heat lamp? Takes a while for them to get up to speed when they're little.

no on a covered heating pad, which has worked for all my other "special ones"

Sorry about the pups, Twist.
When I got my Belle as a pup, it was the first time I heard that there can be more than one papa for a litter... which to me implies that the pups can also be different ages.
Maybe that was the problem? The runties were younger than the others?

possible , BUT on one sire as she was under watch at the farm the entire "season"
