My dad was in a nursing home toward the end but I didn't get to see him there, it was too far away. I knew he didn't want me to anyway, he'd made that clear long before it ever came to that. But his wife and her family lived close and I'll always be grateful that they took good care of him in his last days.Yes, my church too.I used to work at a nursing home, longer ar an Assistant Living home. Loved it. Sadly there are some that don't get many visits from their very own family. It really is a good place to visit.
