Hello all:

Well took a day and a half BUT the main coop aka gen pop is cleaned and ready for winter. Had a little free time while Mike was spreading the pine shavings. (can't breather around them when they are fresh) SOOOOOOOOO got some pics of the younger stuff and a few of the main herd on the way home.

This is "little" Shoe show knee, heifer out of Polka last year. We think she is deaf. View attachment 3304040
Is deafness common in yaks? Related to white coloring?

Well "we" are working the yaks on Sat. Annual booster for the adults and then one of two shots for this years calves. Plus pulling 7 or is it 8 of this years calves for weaning and then tagging the heifers. The yearling heifer will get their IYAK ear tags as well and then I can post at least 2 of them for sale. Will have to load the calves into the trailer and then haul them over to the Curly group. Also going to try to separate Comet, Granny and their calves and old gold out and keep them ALL in the rodeo grounds for extra feeding up and easier to keep an eye on the 2 little ones.
