I am going to need to come up with some water for the animals. Luckily i do have a rain barrel in Turkey Town. And i have feed to distribute in the barrels i store it in.

He rarely fishes here, usually fishes when he goes to Canada for vacation.

Guess i had best go put the goats to bed and lock up the chickens. Feels like 46° out there.
Hubby says he wants to cut down two more trees, but i think he forgot the big poplar tree in my flower garden. I am not getting stuff ready for winter at all with all of this tree work.

It has been many years since i had a vacation. Hard to get someone to care for all the critters.
Oh, and i went to see my Nancy today. She gave me a bunch of strawberry plants. Plan to plant them in raised beds.

Yes, but i don't really consider that a vacation. I would like to go with him. I would really miss the dogs.

The strawberry plants i had got quite small because i didn't water my gardens enough this summer when it was dry. Hopefully i will do better with the new bunch.
