Granny's gone and done it again

On the phone..they didnt answer. Asked for me to leave a message. I pretty much said what I posted here. What's the point...not their fault though that the glasses aren't done. They're special glasses and I was told it could take a while from others who have gotten them. It's just that I got excited because the doc thought only about 10 days.

Oh MC, Im so sorry. Does it hurt bad? I dont really get a good answer from Robert. I know it messed with his vision because he said yesterday he can finally see better.
No, doesn't really hurt, at least mine doesn't. It feels more like a low grade sting at times but you know how it feels when you are starting to get a sty and something is rubbing against your eye every time you blink? Not painful just irritating because you want to rub your eye to make it go away and it doesn't help.

Also the way my husband explained it to me, the Meibomian glands distribute the oil they produce over your eye to lock in the tears your eyes produce to keep your eye moisturized. If one or all malfunction then nothing is locking that moisture in and it makes your eye dry and irritated. It's a hormonal thing he says that happens when you get old...oh, joy.... Thanks Dear I really needed to hear that.

So the trick is to get the glands unclogged. Warm moist packs to liquify the plugs and gentle massage to make them work again. Plus he gave me some drops to use for the inflammation.

He also told me no eye make up until it is better...sniff. I have pale red eyelashes so I wear a bit of mascara. I feel naked without it. Guess I'll survive.

the squeaky wheel, ya know? Keep calling and calling.... Tell them they will be getting a review they wont like if something isnt done.
Oh yes, I use that squeaky wheel at times. Back in the day when I practically lived at the children's hospital with Richard, the wheel squeaked quite often.

Or pink eye..feels like you have something on the eye when infected. And..sigh..a lot of extra fun things happen when we get older. 🫠
