Granny's gone and done it again

Merry Christmas all!

Between work being INSANE after the week of covid and covid still wearing me out and still having to run the house…that’s why I’ve been hiding.

Did some baking the other day. Got Nanaimo bars too (not pictured) that turned out super good. Braided loaf ended up kinda dry so…hmm. I’ll need to figure that one out.

Ended up with an “orphan” - a friend of a friend lives the life - has a skoolie (school bus converted into a motorhome kind of thing) and has an oil leak. She was kinda close, so she’s ended up here - hubs will be doing some work on it. So hopefully the bone in beef roast I have will be enough for three of us. Should be. Just might not have as much leftovers as I was hoping for. But she’s parked in our backyard for now and for…however long.

Working on cleaning house while hubs watches YouTube but yeah. Was thinking of doing a car wash but now we’re expecting rain all next week :/

I stuck a cheap pot roast in the crock pot with carrots and small size red potatoes. Actually turned out OK. It was Richard and me again. Bronwyn is still sick..but feels much better..now..Ashton is sick. We did church over zoom.

Well grands kids just left so now the dogs are in. They were locked up all day. They going crazy.
