I put my dogs in the bedroom when strangers come but people they know get jumped on. Bandit cries for Nancy. All I have to do is say her name and he is at the door crying.

Merry Christmas everyone! I got calls from both my boys, so i am pleased.
It was nice to see my Nancy. We all enjoyed Turkey with all the fixins. I am stuffed!

Between work being INSANE after the week of covid and covid still wearing me out and still having to run the house…that’s why I’ve been hiding.

Good to have you back! Don't rush things, take it easy and give yourself time to heal.

Did some baking the other day. Got Nanaimo bars too (not pictured) that turned out super good. Braided loaf ended up kinda dry so…hmm. I’ll need to figure that one out.

Ended up with an “orphan” - a friend of a friend lives the life - has a skoolie (school bus converted into a motorhome kind of thing) and has an oil leak. She was kinda close, so she’s ended up here - hubs will be doing some work on it. So hopefully the bone in beef roast I have will be enough for three of us. Should be. Just might not have as much leftovers as I was hoping for. But she’s parked in our backyard for now and for…however long.

Working on cleaning house while hubs watches YouTube but yeah. Was thinking of doing a car wash but now we’re expecting rain all next week :/
