It will take a lot of work to break Bandit of his bad habits. Cesar's magic works because he is the alpha dog, and makes sure the dogs he works with understand that. It's a social power dynamic rather than physical dominance. Bandit doesn't see you as alpha. He sees you as more of a big toy he can tease and devil.

He sure listens to Robert though. He doesnt even have to say anything. Can there be more then one alpha?

A big part of the problem for Bandit is lack of exercise and mental stimulation (like training, learning tricks).
Pi has been very difficult to deal with in all this rain. He's not getting as much exercise and has too much energy... just looking for trouble.

I try to do some indoor training with him. We have been practicing come-sit, and wait. He works for treats. He's also learning to catch a toy out of the air. He doesn't need a treat to try that, but giving up the toy is something he's working on.

seems like Bandit learns on his own time. He knows sit and stay, can catch mid air pretty good. He acts like he dont know what no means. Its the barking and jumping on people that is the worst. The exercise he gets is running circles in the house and outside chasing Frosty. Playing fetch with all of us.

Bandit is really treat motivated. Frosty could care less. I havent been able to teach her anything. Call her name and she runs.
