Granny's gone and done it again

SD has been in the ER all day. They are sending her home but I think its a mistake. She has an infected tooth that swelled her face then gave her cellulitis in her face and neck. They gave her a bag of antibiotics and something for pain. 2nd or 3rd place she has been in 2 days. She cant even talk well.

Oh, ow! Poor kid, that's awful! Hope she can get in to a dentist in the morning. Nothing to mess around with.

Ah, Wishing! After all those new poles in the neighborhood, too! Ten days of rain.. have been watching this moving in on the wx/ news. Lord, keep her safe. 🙏
 
Well, I lost a chicken today. My SIL's dog got her. I knew it was just a matter of time. Will be keeping them locked up until we can come up with a plan to chicken-proof her dogs. It was the blue copper Marans that actually had the copper head and neck. Darn.
 
Tomorrow we take the Man-Child back to the academy. Only this time we don't meet the bus in St. Louis. For some reason there is no bus service this time. We have to take him all the way to Centralia, a drive that takes us about 5 1/2 to 6 hours. NOT looking forward to spending 12 hours on the road. But I will probably spend most of it on here with you guys as The Man usually does most of the driving.
