Granny's gone and done it again

On the bright side though, you all on the west coast are getting some relief from the drought you have been suffering for the past what is it? 5 years?

I wish we would get a few downpours. Our pond is down about a foot. It was so pretty out that DH and I loaded my little wagon with chain saws and headed for the woods. There is so much debris on the ground in the form of downed limbs and the like that we decided it was time to do some clean up and toss said nasty wood into our deepest ravine which is what we spent almost two hours doing.

Just toss it in and count on the first big downpour to move it around and form a barrier to slow down the water flow a bit.

Our entertainment was watching the two oldest dogs trying to dig their way into a varmint tunnel they found in the side of the ravine. Both were mud up to their elbows and I don't think the varmint had anything to worry about.

Granny! What's wrong? Why aren't you feeling well? :hugs

Not really going to help because our stupid government has made no effort to build anything to store the water in. Put all the money into the high speed rail to nowhere

Love the video. Those two are in doggie heaven. Like little kids with mud puddles.

As for government, remember this the next election. When the people you vote in do not act in the best interest of the population that voted for them, it's time to vote them out. No matter what their political affiliations are.

I got this memory pop on fb that I posted 4 years ago! Sure does along with all the complaints going on back and forth in today's world. ....The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of ..attitude..in life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church..a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the situation we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past..we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and this is our attitude..I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is....we are in charge of our......ATTITUDE....I needed to read this again because of my health issues..my attitude certainly does make a difference in how I feel about life. I need to concentrate on what I can do not what I can't. I find I can actually do more with this attitude. Not a whole lot these days..but more than what I thought I could do in the beginning of all this. :) So many folks on here..doing what they can...❤
