Granny's gone and done it again

An interesting approach. I fear Sammy would eat till he puked.
What we have found is that when we feed a high fat diet they don't do that. We have two pups and two 12 year old chihuahuas, neither of them are scarfers. We have dog sat various friends' dogs and found the same with them. Initially they'll eat a lot when they get here but once they get their fill of the high fat feed they back off on eating and only eat what they need. We feed the Diamond Naturals brand of dog food. https://www.diamondpet.com/

I got Bandit from an amish family . He seemed like a healthy pup. His mom was little and he grew big! He ended up with parvo when he was around a yr. old. He spent 3 days in the hospital and I made him some bone broth and took it to him on day 2. He did a quick turn around and I was able to bring him home where he was fed chicken and bone broth. He slowly regained his strength and was put on dry kibbles but Im positive the broth saved him. He eats slowly unless its table scraps which he will scarf down. He is of good weight. My other dog frosty didnt get parvo but I think I got her shots when she was spayed. I dont remember. I sterilize all my animals.

the memories keep flooding my brain. I cant stop them. Some of them not so good.
I hate that I have to wait til march to see the surgeon.
I do understand what you are saying.

There is an old saying, you can pick your friends, you can even pick your enemies but you are stuck with your family.

I would bet real money that there are few of us that can say they came from a 'perfect' family. Mine was about 75% dysfunctional and I'm being generous. When memories I'd rather forget flood my thoughts I remember what a friend told me recently when I asked them about if something that was said about them was bothering them. They said. 'No, I don't have time to think about them. There is only room for one person at a time to occupy my brain and that person is me'.

Try not to look back, dear lady, try to live in the present and look ahead to the future.

What gives me comfort is I know I will be with everyone again when I pass. I am very excited about it.

SD called, she finally got that tooth out. Dentist said infection was in the root and she was going to be in pain. She is. Maybe she can get better now.
On that phone for 45 mins. My ear is red! lol
Coffee break time.
I'm glad she could get that tooth out. No pain more worrisome than a tooth ache.
