the white cloud mountain minnow is a pretty cold water fish.

They're pretty, but I don't want another chore. Don't want to listen to a pump either.

Not sure she likes to cook all that much, but she really likes to eat! So I motivate her by saying, "Let's make (whatever)." Then I have her "help" me, in such a way that I tell her what to do while I pretty much stand by and coach her. Usually I start assembling pans and ingredients and before she knows it she's putting the recipe together while I supervise. She enjoys it, though. It's fun working together. I clean as we go.

They get as big as the tank allows, I thought. I kept some in my horses' water tank once and they got bigger than my fist, a good 4" to 5" long. Such beauties they were. Froze once too and came out of it perfectly fine.

their body gets as big as the tank size there in but their internal organs keep growing eventually killing the fish

I like listening to a bubbler too. I had a little table fountain but the motor quit. Sadness..

Yes, true about as big as tank..almost said that. A daughter has a fish pond. They stay underneath there throughout the winter. Come out fine in the spring.

did you take it apart and clean the impeller?
