Yes allopathic medicine can save your life.I'm camp both can be of use, however either way don't diss someone for preferring one or another as long everyone is respectful y'know? I've seen some horrible things from doctors (My mom being denied care for her weight then learning she had untreated pcos that led to emergency hysterectomy) and the holistic community (IE telling people to drink citrus essential oils or EO curse autism). I grew up reading my mom's herbalism books but if it wasn't for doctors we wouldn't know what was wrong with me and gotten me medication that helps.

Yes, do your research then decide for yourself.I'm camp both can be of use, however either way don't diss someone for preferring one or another as long everyone is respectful y'know? I think Troyer already said, but egg color will depend on whether your EE hens carry one or two genes for blue shells. If she only has one gene, odds are 50% of her pullet chicks will lay brown eggs. Thanks, Troyer, I don't know what he is, I'm just saying I think he has genetics for brown eggs. Because I don't see evidence of him being an Easter Egger (facial hair, so to speak, or a pea comb); nor evidence of being a white-egg layer (white earlobes). I have no reason to believe he is an OE, not at all. But what we're thinking is, if he has genetics of being a brown-egg layer*, and breeds the EE hens, the resulting chicks should be OEs. Does that sound right?
*of course I don't mean HE would lay brown eggs, but that genetically he has the DNA of chicken breed that lays brown eggs ...
