Granny's gone and done it again

I looked up the seller, who has gotten decent reviews, although not very many reviews.
Tell Robert the item would probably be coming from overseas. The business is in Ankara, Turkey (or however they are spelling it these days). Turkey is where the Middle East meets Europe. I noticed they did not list the location from where the item ships. Could be coming from anywhere! It also doesn't tell you where it's made.

Well, I have a sadness to report. My Lucy cat died today. I knew something was wrong with her and planned to get her in to the vet this week. She was still eating and drinking, cuddling, acting normal, even caught a mouse. But she was breathing kind of labored and seemed to be drinking more. After the game tonight we noticed she wasn't in bed between us (we called her our Inconvenient Cat) so we got up to go look for her. And found her under a dresser, stiff already. I'm sad. She always woke me up about midnight for a cuddle. I miss my little Lucy Lou!

So sorry you lost Lucy. She was adorable. It's a blessing for her to pass away at home where she was always safe and comfortable and felt loved.

I don't watch super bowl

Waiting to see if I'm going to need to reschedule a medical test because we have to take birds to the vet school for AI test. :he
Do they have symptoms?

SD has pleurisy and a partial collapsed lung.
Oh dear. That is very painful. Poor girl needs some prayers.

:idunno I would say NO, but for reasons other than who the seller is. 🤨

Respiratory issues, the guinea let me hold it which we all know that's not normally. Unfortunately it passed last night and my other rooster we brought to be euthanized and necropsy on. Silver lining is the lab at the capital near my doctors.

Sure hope it's not AI.

So are we, unfortunately alot of backyard breeders here just... don't care. Mississippi largest ag industry is poultry (broiler) and if we test positive there a broiler farm maybe two mile from us. I may have bias knowing many of the people in the ag sector here are genuinely wanting what's best for us farmers and not a alternative agenda. Plus dealing with dairy goats we know first hand the dangers of infectious diseases and protocol.
