They think allergy to fleas could be a factor, but the exact cause is unknown and may be autoimmune or genetic. She lives with another cat that does not have it. It is certainly not contagious.

I don't really see fleas as being at play here. She's been an indoor cat for about 3 years and I mean yeah it could be possible, but ... not likely.

I got 12 eggs today. Six of them were blue or green. I have 11 EEs, 12 brown egg layers. I've only been getting one chocolate egg out of two FBCM and two BCM. Shouldn't they all be laying very dark eggs?

This is Pearl. She is a 5-yo spayed lilac tabby-point Siamese cross. Her owner has dementia, and that lady's daughter has been looking to re-home her for several months. Pearl will be delivered to me this Saturday afternoon. She does have a minor health issue and has to get a shot a couple of times a year. She's good with dogs and other cats, and VERY cuddly, loving and playful. Can't wait!
