I bet that snow was a real treat for those kids that never seen it.
Guilt is a fine skill to invoke. hahaa

Very few houses up there, but people will travel to give their kids a snow experience.

Last time we had snow at the farm was when #2 was a wee baby. We made a snow creature with #1 and gave him saucer rides. He remembers it!

I knew someone who owned many. They don’t really socialize that much but are very cute.

No, I dont think they are easy to take care of from what I read on them.

A true axolotl is a different species than tiger salamanders. They're originally from Mexico.
I just read a little about them... too much trouble for me. I got Pi. He's enough trouble!

Just keep in mind the bigger the tank the easier it is to keep cleaned.

Bandit has slowed down on his trouble making except for that mouth. He barks at the wind.

We have lots of arboreal salamanders around here so I can get my cutie fix from them and let them take care of their own lives. I rescued a nice big one from under the oak that went down.

The babies are cute, of course.
