Is that what new-hatched parakeet chicks are supposed to look like? Bald n naked?

Only ground nesting birds hatch with down and the ability to run in a few hours. All the others are naked. Parents feed them in the nest for weeks.

My problem is I feel bad for the animal and end up taking it.

I just love polish! My Speckled Sussex and Columbian Wyandottes shipped today, so i get to sweat for the next couple of days.

My four chicks from the fertility test eggs are getting big, but one is a lot bigger than the others. It's white, and must be a large fowl since the others are bantams. Funny part is, it's white, and i have no LF whites! Wtf?
