Granny's gone and done it again

The best dog I ever had was a male Golden, so I'm a bit prejudiced. But he was also way hyper as a youngster and slow to mature. And Sammy, my current Sheltie, is similar. Smart as a whip, kind of ADHD, a bit of a pain in the yes he is, lol. He has a hard time controlling himself, but I can teach him just about anything. In my experience, females are kind of control freaks, and males mostly want to lay around and drink beer (not literally). In other words, females I've owned want to argue with me about who's the boss, and my males lie at my feet and worship me. So ...
It seems females love their space, males love their mommies.

hahahhaa, opposite here. Goose has his thoughts on listening to me, and my girls were...well, I never had to worry about them not listening. lol
they are both reported to be very smart dogs. Are they?
Heelers? Very smart and very high energy.

Well, Goose is a mama's boy, but my girls were also velcro dogs.

Speaking of....I left my hoodie in the kitchen on the floor. (was bringing in groceries, and kinda left it there.)

Guess who just pranced into the Land of Spare Oom dragging my hoodie? Yep. Goose. He's been doing that lately, just grabs things and brings them in here. Hubs had an unopened bag of chocolate chip cookies (lunch/snack sized - so would not have harmed him in the least) that he left in his lunch box...lunch box got left opened...walk into spare Oom and there's a bag of cookies on the floor. Not opened, not damaged, just....relocated haha. He did the same thing with a flier the JW left tucked in the door haha. No damage (ok, some teeth indentations but...)

Stonker.

Welcome to Granny's. What are you studying? And what kind of chickens did you leave behind?
Thank you! I am studying Animal Science in prep to be a large animal farm vet. I left behind six MPE Silkie x EE crosses, one Cream Legbar, one barnyard mutt, two Brahmas, and one Olive-Egger (who lays brown eggs).

Cap, any news of Mini today?
Yes, hubby and i went to visit her this afternoon. She looks skinny and pitiful. She was thrilled to see us, especially Daryl.
I cooked her bone marrow soup and chicken, and rice. She lapped up a bit of broth, had 2 small bites of chicken, that was it. Hoping to take her home tomorrow , i left the food there for them to feed her.
