Yes. Plus he had parvo. Should have lifelong immunity

yes they can get parvo from what I read today

Oh! Oh! I almost forgot I have exciting news! DH finally agreed we can have Invisible Fencing installed! It's coming next Thursday, April 6! I'm so excited! It will keep Sammy from running up the road chasing vehicles!

Wow. Here's what I found, Granny, that I didn't know:

Parvo is boostered one year after the last of the puppy series, then every three years after that to protect your adult dogs. Stay away from public areas and be careful who interacts with your pup until they are fully vaccinated.

Yes and no. It won't keep other dogs off my property, I'll have to depend on Sammy and Gracie to do that. But we don't get "visitors" very often, especially since Sammy put the fear into SIL's dogs.

yes, I read that too. I couldnt find anything about them already having it once before

I don’t give mine any except rabies every three years.
