Our neighbors raise them here in VA. Idk if they ship. I can ask them.Evening, all. Our power went out last night at 6:32 and didn't come back on until after midnight. Very un-handy.
No, they're true. You better have a lot of gold to make it through these years. My dad told me that snd he was right!
If it was pot, it smells like skunk.
That's wonderful news!
Yikes! And I thought mine were ugly! I think I have 4 cockerels and two pullets. One in particular pecks me every chance he gets and has since about Day Three. No worries, my freezer is empty.
Not sure that's a real spider, it only seems to have 6 legs. It's real cute, though, and the flower is lovely. If it weren't occupied (and so far away), I'd stick my nose in it and sniff it!
Folks at church this morning told us the storm was headed right toward us (and Sammy said so, too!), then it apparently split and went around us. Must've been a doozy, Sammy does not like storms but I have never seen him as agitated as he was yesterday evening. I was about to give him a Benedryl and then he just calmed down.
We're expecting 70 which is s bit high for us, especially when we had a morning low of about 30 just a few days ago. A bunch of my daffodils got bit but the redbud trees are just coming on and they seem to be okay.
I'm in the market for a Golden retriever. Male. Preferably not a puppy.
Have I ever told you about my American cocker spaniel we had when I was a kid? Dumb as a post except for when it came to getting food…grumpy cuss too.2 stupid spaniels both are sprockers. They don’t listen to me one bit! Both trained for the gun so only listen to charlie and his dad. I’m not interesting enough!

Well when you think about it, rescue vs puppy, rescue usually has spay/neuter included, rounds of shots, vet check etc.I guess $200 for a rescue isnt too bad then.
That is so heartening to hear. You hear so many horror stories…The first DH married a dear lady who took excellent care of him and we actually became good friends. I called her my "wife-in-law." They used to include me in holiday gatherings so I could be there whenever they had the grandkids, it was great.
Sorry cap. Why doesn’t your hubby like corgis?Had a crummy day at the swap. Rain, and lack of buyers was really miserable. After all that effort, i only sold $60 worth of chicks. Fell asleep on the sofa twice tonight.
It was a lovely drive back this afternoon. And i did find some interesting rocks.
Did Robert ever get his his insulin. He will need it after a blizzard.hi all, running a little behind today. Took Robert to pick up his holster and to DQ with his coupon BOGO blizzard. I didnt want one. Made dinner and watching naked people.
My pups do the same thing, lolI was out in original pasture loading up the burn pile, and i had a bottle of water with me. Two of my adult goats were out there with me. I finished the bottle of water, screwed the top on and set the bottle down, so i could use both hands to work. Next thing i know, Windy had picked up the bottle and chewed off the cap. She was chewing the cap like gum. So i fished it out of her mouth, and screwed it back on. You just never know what goats will do!

So much chaos yesterday but despite my sis in law almost having a mental breakdown we got it donefather in law is hitched and I have some new step in laws that are pretty freaking amazing. Honestly was a little concerned- never met the lady or obviously any of her fam but yeah. Pretty good people. We all meshed! Photos are on the big camera we’ll get them out later. Doh I never got any good ones of hubs and I…oh well. I was running around like a bat out of hades before the wedding, trying to get the dining area all set up, decorated etc. the bride was a little bit late (for setup) the cake got forgotten in Sacramento (so they stopped by a grocery store and got a red velvet cake for the bridal table and cupcakes for everyone else lol hey it works!!) so it was sis in law having a breakdown trying to figure out decorations until I shooed her away to get ready so I could do set up lol. Told her she was in the wedding party, hubs was wedding party, I was just a guest, so goose and I were zooming around (he was on his running leash for some of this until I gave up and threw him in the motorhome) until zero hour. But. It got done. They’re hitched. Phew. Gorgeous venue too. View attachment 3452586View attachment 3452587
