Granny's gone and done it again

2:34 a.m., we are under EXTREME tornado alert and my SIL, BIL, their 2 grandsons and 2 dogs have joined us in the basement, we are told there is a tornado on the ground very near us and headed toward us, 2 1/2" hail. Oh now 3" hail ..... will keep you posted! Yikes! And, Lord have mercy.

Update: 2:50 and the alleged tornado has passed us. Have had no cell signal.
Phew!

How is everything down your way? Did you get hit? Are you alright?

Couldn't sleep, found this for Granny:

How do you get rid of a cramp on the top of your foot?

Charley Horse Treatment
  1. If you're sitting or lying down, stand up and put weight on your cramping foot. ...
  2. Flex your foot and toes, lifting them upward toward your nose. ...
  3. Rub your muscle gently as you stretch it. ...
  4. If ice is not working, put heat on the cramped muscle with a warm towel or heating pad.

I do the muscle stretching when I already have the Charlie Horse. Usually I get them really bad, so bad that I almost can't get it to relieve. They are usually in my inner thigh toward the back of the leg.
Usually when it happens it's so strong that it bends my knee and the only way for me to relieve it is to force stretch the muscle while massaging it to make it release. It is usually sore for a few days afterward and I need to be careful to not allow my knee to bend completely, I can't do a squat or the Charlie Horse will come back with a vengence.

Fine, thanks, and thank God. Could not update bc we had no cell service after all that, and then fell asleep. The storm seemed to lose energy as it came into our area and then passed over us so family left and we went to bed. Morning news said it hit the county north of us, there is extensive damage, injuries, and ... fatalities. Don't know how many yet. As of this writing they are still searching for people. Prayers, please. 😒

Same here, ever since I had tree ripened bananas back in 05 I don't really like most of the bananas that we buy in local stores. I eat them because they're good for me, but that's about it.
They say eating them a bit on the green side has more health benefits.
