Um. No. Then he would be caught between two hot fences with no way to escape. There has to be a "right" answer. Keeping h2o's objection in mind, I guess we'll give it a try. The installer will train the dog. Sammy's very smart, learns quickly and is very motivated as to self-preservation. I think once he gets the idea, he won't challenge the fence. Fingers crossed anyway. The only time he ever leaves the property is to chase a vehicle.
